The Keystone Oaks School District has an immediate opening for a full-time School Nurse. 

Requirements include: 
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Registered Nurse's license
Pennsylvania certification as a school nurse
CPR certification

The School Nurse maintains health files on all children as required by law or guidelines and oversees and/or arranges necessary health care for children in the school setting. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Assists the school doctor with state mandated physicals at specified grade levels
Coordinates the dental screening for the school dentist
Liaison with local medical personnel
Distributes written first aid policy to staff
Maintains health records for enrolled students
Informs district staff about the health care needs of students in the staff's care
Provides information to the home and community regarding good health practices
Offers health education programs to students
Consults and follows up with parents/school staff and administration regarding the recommendation of school health personnel about health conditions of pupils as they relate to the education of these students
Consults with school staff and administrators in the area of health curriculum and instruction
Assists students, parents, and school staff in identifying and appropriate utilizing health services int he school and community
Supervises paraprofessional nurses' assistant
