May & June Calendar Reminders 📆

As we head into the final full month of the 2025-2026 school year, please be reminded of the following calendar notes for the months of May and June:

Tuesday, May 19, 2026 is a professional development day for staff; there are no classes for students on this day. There is also no school for Mon Valley School students on this day. Students who attend Parkway West CTC will be transported to Parkway and returned to their bus stop.

Friday, May 22, 2026 is an early dismissal day. Students in grades 9-11 who attend Parkway West Career and Technology Center and all Mon Valley School students will be transported to those schools and returned to their bus stop; they will not report to the High School on this day. Parkway seniors should plan to attend their classes at the High School on Friday, May 22. Students may arrive at 9 a.m. for an event that is scheduled for the High School. Students may arrive via their own transportation; students who do not have their own transportation may utilize their morning bus and will be provided a study hall space in room 234 until the event begins at 9 a.m. Keystone Oaks students will be dismissed according to the following schedule:
- Middle School and High School - 11 a.m.
- Dormont Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.
- Fred L. Aiken Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.
- Myrtle Avenue Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.
Monday, May 25, 2026. The District will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Classes and regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Friday, May 29, 2026. Commencement for Keystone Oaks High School’s Class of 2026 will begin at 7 p.m. at Dormont Memorial Stadium. In the case of inclement weather, commencement will be held in the High School Gymnasium.
Thursday, June 4, 2026 is the last day of school for students in grades K-11 and is an early dismissal for students. Students will be dismissed according to the schedule above.
